After Jesus left in a boat with his disciples, a terrible storm suddenly struck the lake, and waves started splashing into their boat.Jesus was sound asleep, so the disciples went over to him and woke him up. They said, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"
But Jesus replied, "Why are you so afraid? You surely don't have much faith." Then he got up and ordered the wind and the waves to calm down. And everything was calm.
The men in the boat were amazed and said, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him."Matthew 8:23-27 (CEV)
Jesus went with His disciples across the sea of Galilee. A bad storm started. Jesus slept through it all. The Disciples were afraid. Then they went and woke Jesus up. Jesus said, "If they had more Faith they wouldn't be so afraid. Jesus rebuked the wind and the water. The wind died down and the sea was calm. Jesus truly is the Son of man because even the wind and water obey Him.I learned that Jesus has more power than the wind and the water.

Jesus spoke the whole universe into existance so I guess a little old hurricane would be nothing for Him eh?
